Capturing the Poetry of Nature.

Nature creates a beautiful visual poetry. I am in awe of its endless variety and delight in its shapes, forms, colors, and textures. Each season, I find inspiration from the first unfurling of leaves in the spring to the tenacious twigs that poke through winter’s snow. I love capturing the landscape when the light and atmosphere are just right, as well as finding smaller subjects that are often overlooked such as leaves and spent flowers. I like to look at these subjects and see how parts relate to one another or how different natural elements complement each other. Often, these subjects elicit feelings in me such as tenacity, grace, and humbleness. As I observe, I attempt to elevate natural elements that may go unnoticed and exist all around us.
